I covered Super Bowl Weekend 2023 on the ground, capturing photography and real time social content across 16 events in five days. I worked across activations for brands including Cash App, Visa, Ciroc, Crown Royal, Diageo, Don Julio Tequila, Johnnie Walker, and Smirnoff, documenting each experience as it happened and translating it into social content throughout the weekend.
H.Wood Group Homecoming: Cash App and Visa
I covered the H.Wood Group Homecoming event for Cash App and Visa, capturing the scale and energy of the night. From the headline performance by Drake to custom chain bar moments, one on one basketball games, and celebrity appearances like Serena Williams, my focus was on documenting the moments people actually felt and sharing them in real time on social.
Flavortown Tailgate: Cash App and Visa
At Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Tailgate, I captured the fan side of Super Bowl weekend. The event featured food inspired by Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives, live performances by Diplo and Locash, and a high energy tailgate atmosphere. My content highlighted the crowd, the food, and the movement of the day, helping extend the experience beyond the venue.
Diageo Brand Activations
Throughout the weekend, I covered multiple Diageo brand activations, shifting tone and approach depending on the brand and environment. From premium Ciroc experiences to Don Julio Tequila moments and nightlife activations, I documented each space through photography and live social updates that reflected the personality of the brand.
Across all events, my role was to capture the weekend as it unfolded and publish content in real time. The coverage helped keep each brand present during one of the most crowded cultural moments of the year while connecting fans online to the energy of Super Bowl Weekend.
