Showtime: YellowJackets SI FYC Event

I covered SHOWTIME’s YELLOWJACKETS FYC event at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, capturing photography and social content throughout the night. The setting played a huge role in the experience, with the cemetery backdrop setting the tone for an evening that felt immersive, cinematic, and intentionally unsettling.

My focus was on documenting the mood as much as the moments. I photographed red carpet arrivals, the outdoor screening, and the reception, paying close attention to lighting, crowd reactions, and the atmosphere of the space as it shifted after dark. I also created social assets that highlighted the venue, fan energy, and key moments from the event without overexplaining the story of the show.

The content brought the experience to life on social, extending the event beyond the screening and reinforcing the tone of the series through visuals alone. The goal was to let the environment and the audience reactions do the storytelling, mirroring the tension and intrigue that define YELLOWJACKETS.
