LA Pride in the Park 2023

I was on-site capturing photography and social content for LA Pride in the Park, produced by NVE Experience Agency in partnership with LA Pride. The festival stretched across more than 20 acres and brought together music, culture, and community with performances from Mariah Carey, King Princess, Violet Chachki, Gottmik, Sasha Colby, and others.

My approach was to document the day in layers. I covered headline performances while also spending time in the spaces that shaped the experience, including the Phoenix sober space, the 18+ Erotic City zone, and ballroom showcases by House of Ninja and House of Miyake-Mugler. Alongside that, I captured crowd moments and artist interactions as they happened.

Throughout the event, I turned those moments into Instagram Reels, Stories, and posts, working closely with the creative team to publish content that reflected the pace, color, and movement of the day. The coverage helped bring the festival to social in a way that felt true to being there, highlighting both the scale of the event and the sense of connection at its core.
