Xbox X Stranger Things 4: Immersive Rift Activation

I worked on-site at LA Live for an interactive Stranger Things activation created in partnership with Netflix and Xbox. The experience brought fans into the world of the show through a storyline centered on a radioactive rift, with attendees stepping in to “prove their power” and close it. Guests who participated walked away with exclusive merch, Xbox Game Passes, Netflix gift cards, and a limited-edition console.

My role focused on content capture and social amplification throughout the two-day event. I documented the experience through photography and video, concentrating on the scale of the set design, the rift itself, and how fans interacted with the activation. The goal was to show what it felt like to be there, not just what it looked like.

I also handled live social updates, posting and resharing content as fans moved through the experience. By leaning into the Stranger Things fandom and spotlighting real attendee moments, the coverage helped build momentum beyond the physical space and keep the activation active on social throughout the event.
