San Diego Comic-Con 2023 Highlights
Comic-Con 2023 was a vibrant celebration of fandom and creativity, and NVE Experience Agency played a key role in bringing unforgettable experiences to life. From honoring the 30th anniversary of Jurassic Park to immersive activations on the IMDboat, Hasbro Pulse’s The Vault, and Fandom’s Metallic Menace campaign, I captured it all through dynamic social media content and photography.
Jurassic Park 30th Anniversary
To celebrate three decades of Jurassic Park, NVE collaborated with NBC Universal to create an immersive photo experience that transported fans into the movie’s most iconic scenes. With breathtaking dinosaur displays and cinematic environments, fans had the opportunity to relive the magic of the franchise.
On-site, I was responsible for capturing the essence of the experience through engaging photography and social media posts. By showcasing fan reactions, detailed set designs, and behind-the-scenes moments, I brought the Jurassic Park legacy to life online, creating buzz and engagement across social platforms.
The IMDboat Experience
The IMDboat made waves at Comic-Con, offering exclusive screenings, fan activities, and unique experiences like building a LEGO® DREAMZzz mural and a cosplay portrait studio. Docked at Fifth Avenue Landing, it became the ultimate destination for pop culture lovers.
As part of the creative team, I documented the energy of the boat and its many interactive elements through captivating photos. By creating timely social media content, I ensured that the IMDboat’s excitement was captured in real-time, amplifying its presence across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
Hasbro Pulse: The Vault
Hasbro Pulse’s The Vault showcased a curated collection of nostalgic and new toys, offering fans a chance to connect with both their childhood memories and the latest releases.
While on-site, I worked to highlight the magic of The Vault through stunning visuals and social media content. Each photo captured the essence of the toys and the excitement of the fans, helping to elevate Hasbro’s presence at Comic-Con and generate excitement for their new products.
Fandom’s Metallic Menace
In collaboration with The Real Cost, Fandom’s Metallic Menace campaign aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of vaping through an interactive installation. Fans could use special Instagram filters created by Cognition Labs to see the effects of vaping brought to life.
I captured this compelling activation through photography and created engaging social media posts that showcased the powerful message while encouraging participation from fans.
My photography and social media efforts across these experiences played a vital role in amplifying the energy and excitement of Comic-Con 2023, creating a digital experience that brought these activations to fans around the world.
